Your responsibilities would include:
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and PnL reviews to ensure financial accuracy.
- Preparing and presenting financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
- Leading internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance and accurate financial reporting.
- Overseeing the invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate transactions to support financial efficiency.
- Preparing and submitting Corporation Tax and VAT returns, ensuring adherence to local tax laws and transfer pricing regulations.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
- Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Hands-on experience preparing UK Corporation Tax Returns, VAT Returns, and Transfer Pricing Files
- Background in commodity trading, ideally within Oil Majors or LNG trading firms would be beneficial
