Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a high-performing central finance team across financial controls, credit control, accounts payable, master data, tax, and treasury.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records by maintaining and enhancing robust financial controls.
- Drive the business’s risk management agenda, ensuring key risks are identified and mitigated effectively.
- Manage internal and external audit relationships, ensuring swift resolution of any issues.
- Oversee timely and accurate internal and statutory financial reporting in line with relevant accounting standards and UK legislation.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive post-qualification experience.
- Strong background in financial control, risk management, and compliance.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge and drive improvements.
- Up-to-date knowledge of technical accounting standards and best practices.
