We are seeking a highly skilled EFX Sales Trader with a strong background in electronic foreign exchange (EFX) sales and trading, focusing on the UK and European corporate client market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing corporate relationships, executing FX transactions, and leveraging electronic trading platforms to optimize client execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Coverage: Develop and manage relationships with UK and European corporate clients, understanding their FX hedging and transactional needs.
- Trade Execution: Execute FX spot, forwards, and options trades using electronic trading platforms while ensuring best execution.
- Sales & Advisory: Provide tailored FX solutions to corporate clients, advising on market trends, pricing, and risk management strategies.
- Electronic Trading Platforms: Utilize and promote leading EFX platforms (such as Bloomberg, 360T, FX Connect, or proprietary bank platforms) to enhance client execution efficiency.
- Market Analysis: Monitor FX markets and macroeconomic trends, delivering relevant insights to corporate clients.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all trading activities adhere to MiFID II, EMIR, and FCA regulations where applicable.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with FX trading desks, risk management, and corporate banking teams to enhance client solutions.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in EFX Sales Trading, with a focus on corporate clients in the UK and Europe.
- Strong understanding of electronic trading platforms and algorithmic execution in FX markets.
- Proven ability to manage corporate relationships and execute FX transactions efficiently.
- Knowledge of FX derivatives, hedging strategies, and macroeconomic market drivers.
- Familiarity with MiFID II, EMIR, and FCA regulations related to FX trading.
- Strong communication and sales skills, with the ability to engage and advise clients effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACI) are a plus.
