We are seeking a proactive and dynamic accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self
starter with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to intuitively identify opportunities for process
improvement. This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is solution-oriented,
and can independently manage tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of accuracy
and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable,
reconciliations, and journal entries.
Analyse existing financial processes and procedures to identify inefficiencies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies and
procedures, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
Support audits and prepare necessary documentation for both external and internal audit reviews
Monitor and analyse financial data, identify trends and anomalies, and make recommendations to
senior team members.
Support the Finance team in the month-end and year-end closing process.
Assist with various tax returns.
Participate in specific projects and other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
Industry: Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role, within an FCA-regulated environment.
LME experience is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and suggest solutions.
Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and MS Excel.
Currently hybrid working with a minimum of three days in the office.
