We are a oil terminal, shipping and trading firm based in Dubai, engaged in the global energy markets. As we expand, we are looking for a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team and drive financial growth and stability.

Job Overview:
The CFO will oversee the company’s financial operations, manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, and provide strategic financial leadership to support the growth and development of the business. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial management within the oil trading sector and significant experience working with banks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
  • Develop and execute financial strategies to support long-term business goals.
  • Manage banking relationships, negotiate terms, and secure financing for operations and expansion.
  • Oversee cash flow, liquidity management, and working capital optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for the executive team and board of directors.
  • Identify and manage financial risks, including commodity price volatility and currency risks.
  • Drive continuous improvements in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and transparency.
  • Lead a team of finance professionals, providing mentorship and career development.
  • Collaborate with various departments to align financial goals with overall business strategy.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior financial leadership role within the oil trading industry.
  • Strong background in banking relationships, loan negotiations, and securing finance.
  • Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and risk management.
  • Excellent understanding of commodity trading, particularly oil and refined products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or CPA/CA preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
