Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Product Officer and the Chief Technology Officer, and working closely with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, and other designers) the product designer Is expected to provide unique design solutions that differentiate our clients products from its competitors. As a fast-growing fintech, this role is suitable for a candidate that would thrive in building from scratch the product design function. The candidate must have strong communication skills and see the positive on collaborating cross-teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design or a related field.
- At least 4-5 years of experience in product design for web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Strong analytical ability and experience with data analysis
- Experience conducting A/B tests.
- Strong problem-solving ability and creativity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and engaging user experiences for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate design concepts.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers.
- Incorporate feedback and adjust designs accordingly.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies.
- Analyze data from various sources to inform design decisions and validate design concepts.
- Conduct A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions and optimize user experiences.
- Conduct competitive analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Develop unique design solutions that differentiate the product from competitors.
Additonal
- Knowledge of fintech/banking/investment domains.
- Experience working within regulations & compliance (PSD2, etc).
