Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Prime Brokerage Sales to join our dynamic team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in prime brokerage sales, particularly with a focus on boutique hedge funds. This role is responsible for driving new business development, managing client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth of our Prime Brokerage business in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new prime brokerage clients, with a focus on boutique hedge funds. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients. Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs. Provide insights and feedback to the product and strategy teams to ensure our offerings remain competitive and relevant.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including trading, risk management, operations, and compliance, to deliver seamless solutions to clients. Facilitate cross-functional initiatives to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales activities, pipeline status, and market developments. Contribute to the forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in prime brokerage sales, with a proven track record of success in dealing with boutique hedge funds.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the hedge fund industry, prime brokerage services, and related financial products. Familiarity with the regulatory landscape in the EMEA region.
  • Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of our prime brokerage services to a sophisticated client base.
  • Client-Focused: Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with high-level stakeholders, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
  • Analytical: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities. Comfortable working with data to drive decision-making.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across various functions and geographies.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus.
