We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Proprietary Trader to execute trading strategies, manage risk, and contribute to the overall success of our trading desk. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of implementing profitable trading strategies and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment along with having a track record with sharp ratio of 2 / 3.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Trading Strategies: Devise and implement proprietary trading strategies across various crypto currencies and equity markets across exchanges. Conduct thorough market analysis and research to identify potential opportunities. Collaborate with quantitative analysts and researchers to enhance trading models. Execution and Risk Management: Execute trades in accordance with established strategies, ensuring optimal entry and exit points. Monitor and manage risk exposure, implementing risk controls and mitigating potential losses. Stay informed about market trends, economic indicators, and news that may impact trading positions. Trade Analysis and Performance Monitoring: Conduct post-trade analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies. Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, making adjustments as needed. Generate reports for senior management on trading activities and performance metrics. Technology Integration: Utilize cutting-edge trading technologies and platforms to enhance efficiency. Work closely with the technology team to implement improvements and innovations. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Stay abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary adjustments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, PhD) are a plus. Proven experience as a proprietary trader or quantitative trader with a successful track record. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a deep understanding of financial markets. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or C++. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
